#31 days of halloween | day 9

 unusual creatures was a project that was over a decade in the making, starting with a cache of old family cabinet cards from relatives in Nebraska from my mom's extended family.  I kept them for years and eventually made a set of collages, to which I added more over that span of times. The installation that went with it was on exhibit during the fall of 2015, which hung along with the full framed collection of photo collages. There was also a series of letters that expanded on the visuals that I did not finish until well after the pandemic.
