I've been drooling over this desk for close to a year, and while I am no closer to actually owning it, I still like to stare at it sometimes...*sigh*

Hi, I've visited your blog and etsy store a few times. I, too, think htis desk is lovely, but having been an undergrad art major who needed money for supplies and would love to put a commission on a C.V., I know that if find your own desk at a yard sale or flea market or something (or if people just do what they do here, and put it out on the curb) and take it to an art student at a local school with a picture of this desk, you may not get an exact reproduction, but you might get something much prettier for at least half the price, if not less. You might have already thought of this, but I thought I'd mention it, just in case.
