a couple of notes

* I will be visiting a class and reading tomorrow out in the wilds of Romeoville at Lewis University with the lovely Lina Ramona Vitkauskas. I'm psyched since last time I did a couple of years ago, I met some very promising poets who I later wound up publishing chapbooks by, so it will definitely be fun...Next week I will be reading at The Hopleaf as part of the Bookslut reading series. Since I've been a Bookslut freak for the last 7 years or so, this is very cool.

*this weekend's soap project was a luscious lemon verbena, which is my favorite thus far..I am hoping to have everything wrapped, photographed, and available in the shop by the end of the week. I also, in trying make my mom some earrings for her birthday, designed a couple of new pairs that are a bit more dangly. Otherwise, I was sleeping alot, hiding under blankets because my apartment is freezing, and watching horror movies that frightened the bejeezus out of me. I am so ready for spring I could scream, I got a ridiculous thrill on the bus over seeing a few boats returning to the harbors again in Lincoln Park. The tulips are getting pretty tall and will bloom within a week or so if the weather is fair. I can't wait...
