National Poetry Month At a Glance

1. NaPoWriMo

As you can see in the post below, I have again committed to daily poeming for NaPoWriMo, which in the past has gleaned some really good poems and projects. You can follow along at IG or Bluesky, where I will be posting drafts daily in a new series of poems. In the spirit of the month, I will also be posting a a healthier amount than usual of poetry postcards, videos, recordings, and other poetry-focused content in the span of April, both here on the blog and via social media.

2. Free Access to 10-Minute Poet Blogs

If you follow my Patreon, you know I post a regular series of craft and po-biz discussions. All during April you can read them without subscribing, plus some new ones I will be posting this month. Topics cover everything from working in hybrid forms to titling your work and navigating your way through publication.

3. Birthday Book Discounts

In addition to poetry, April also brings my birthday which I am celebrating by offering 30% off of my books, zines, and objects in the DGP shop this month. You can get copies of books, both new and old that can be found here. Just use the code "BIRTHDAYGIRL" at check-out.
